I am sorry that you found our website to be slightly misleading it is certainly not intentional but rather to draw you attention to the importance of taking travel insurance. Our records show that confirmation was sent on the day which should have allowed you plenty of time to check and cancel the insurance. Unfortunately as soon as we have paid the premiums then they cannot be refunded. The hotel reservation is also detailed on the confirmation showing the name , room type and board basis selected. We do not appear to have been contacted during your stay with regard to the problems encountered with your room, we may have been able to move you to a room at the rear of the Hotel which may have been quieter for you, unfortunately with all town Hotels a certain amount of noise is to be expected. The bar is normally open for hot meals between 6-9pm and for cold snacks from 11 am , you do not say the time that you tried to obtain your meal but certainly something should have been available for you. I do hope that this experience will not deter you from revisiting our Island in the future and our reservation team would be happy to assist in finding you some suitable accommodation in a more peaceful area.
