Thank you for leaving a review. You would have to get your fingers into the glove and open it up. Also adding the heart is not recommended at this age which should have given your little one more room for his hand. We always say to any customer that if the glove doesn't fit we will exchange for the larger size. Please open up the glove and give it another try and your baby will thank you for it. Hi Deandra, thank you for this review. I am glad that you think our product is the best your daughter has tried and I totally understand about the price but unfortunatley we don't sell very many of these gloves and this will keep the price high. As for the side teethers these tend to be very robust and don't damage easily but please be aware that these are being chewed on by sharp teeth. Teeth are designed to tear through things if chewed on hard enough. This will always happen eventually and it doesn't matter what material we use teeth will get through them eventually. Unfortunatley, the nature of the product and the problem it is solving, checking the product for wear and tear will always be needed. Thanks, Steve Boothby, Gummee Daddee.
