Good Afternoon, Thank you for your response; yes indeed you did give a price of £415 over the phone, added to that later came £125 (ish) for a new cable run then added to that VAT which as a domestic customer I didn't realise that VAT was not included (perhaps I should) which then took the cost from the £415 quoted to the £642 that I eventually paid. I accept there may have been reasons, however it was to late with the engineer already on the roof working not to pay the unexpected extra £125 for the new cable then of course the VAT which I hadn't realised and that may have been my fault. However I still believe that £641 for a replacement aerial and two cable a considerable sum. Again I will also say that the engineer was a really lovely chap who worked hard and resolved all the issues, and your service was fast efficient and effective it really is just the cost.
