Many Thanks for your feedback. We apologise for the short delay on your return to Jersey and that you weren't kept informed of this at Tenerife Airport. On the 5th February the Captain made a decision to burn off fuel and reduce the aircraft weight for take off due to the inclement weather conditions in Jersey on the day. We appreciate that this is inconvenient to passengers however the safety of our clients is always paramount.

We apologise that you did not receive travel documents after the change to your departure date, however please be assured that these documents are for your information only and are not required by the airline for travel. Should there be any question at the airport we have a member of Flydirect staff on call each departure day in order to assist with queries if necessary.

Thank you for your feedback and please accept our apologies for the 2 hour delay to the outbound service. The safety of our clients is paramount and the decision to burn off fuel by the pilot was due to him being cautious given the weather conditions in Jersey that day. 

I'm sorry that you felt that the communication and service was poor from the cabin crew. We are currently collecting all passenger feedback and will follow up the in-flight experience with the airline direct to ensure this is better managed in the future.
