Glad you really enjoyed the route Lindsay but sorry to hear you were not so impressed with other elements of the trip. Most of our customers are very pleased with the quality of bikes provided on our Danube routes so this is rather unusual for us. Rest assured I have fed your comments back to our local supplier on this subject. Accommodation options in and around Mosonmagyarovar are rather limited but we are working to find a better solution for this overnight. We will also ensure that future welcome meetings cover the whole route all the way to Budapest.

Thanks Annette - the GPX files are winning over everyone and onceused to using them, it's hard to consider going back to maps (although it's nice to know these are always provided as a back-up). Hotel selection is often linked to good quality properties that can also offer adequate, safe overnight storage for the bikes. The property in Schuddebeurs is one such property and from there it's only a 10 minute bike ride, along the cycle path, back into Zierikzee where there are many places to eat.

Many thanks for the lovely review Mike. I hear you regarding the Bolzano hotel and our local supplier is looking at this but the issue is it's quite hard to find centrally located hotels with sufficient storage space for the bikes.
