All orders placed before 3pm are despatched the same day. Your order was placed at 4pm and was therefore sent the next day.
With Royal mail 1st class post we usually expect the orders to be delivered the next day or the day after so we do apologise if they were a bit delayed. We'll look into this for you as we pride ourselves on our speedy service. We also have a Next day guaranteed delivery service available to choose at the checkout for a few pounds more.

Thanks Martin, that's really helpful to know.  The carbide burrs will work on very hard metals as well as soft so it's great to hear they are going through the brass with ease and the hardened steel.
