we monitor our competitors very closely to ensure we are offering value. The extra cost trips usually involve extra dives, early starts or both and are further away by boat. We still offer plenty of fantastic sites such as Clauido and Abu Galawa Soraya in the daily diving rate, and while there are some sites such as Maksur that we charge a supplement for, the same competitors that may include that reef in their normal program have daily diving extras on their normal diving trips that we include, such as the marina fees and even a cost for the dive guide (9 euro extra per day for both of these)! These competitors also charge double what we charge for the environment tax, and also double for the Abu Ghusun wreck trip. We therefore provide a much more all inclusive and value diving day, but keep some of the more cost heavy trips with an additional supplement allowing guests to choose which trips they would like to do according to their budget. I'm happy to tell you that we have been looking at ways to improve the transfer situations for Intercontinental guests and after check in day one we are now picking up directly from the hotel with a speedboat to the daily boats, total time about 3 minutes.
