When the heating issue was reported, the owner responded promptly particularly given the bank holiday weekend by arranging temporary heaters, securing an engineer at the earliest opportunity, and reimbursing the cost of wood purchased for the fire. While unexpected maintenance issues can occasionally arise, we believe reasonable steps were taken to support you and resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We’re sorry to learn of the additional housekeeping concerns you mention. These were not raised with us during your stay, and we would have been happy to arrange for them to be addressed immediately had we been made aware at the time.
