Chesters Fort is always well-worth the extra time, and we're glad to hear you could modify your holiday to suit! For any prospective walkers reading this and wondering, the described shorter walk between Lanercost and Corbridge is our Hadrian's Wall Highlights holiday, and sticks to the central part of the trail that contains the most Roman interest.
