We’re pleased to hear ordering was easy and the driver was as helpful as possible, but we understand the new pallet delivery method hasn’t suited your property. While Palletline’s standard vehicles are larger compared to the old local lorry, they do offer alternative sizes, including smaller vehicles and, in some areas, Luton vans. These aren’t a standard but we can always look into this for you ahead of a future order to make things easier. The move to Palletline has also enabled quicker delivery turnarounds, no lead times, and the option for customers to select a preferred delivery date at checkout, which many have found helpful. Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry that your recent delivery did not meet expectations. In regards to not receiving the ETA that you had requested, we had received your form, but unfortunately, it was submitted with the wrong delivery date, so this was not automatically picked up by our system on the day of delivery. Ahead of dispatch, we discussed your driveway, including the gravel surface, incline and electric gates. For this reason, we explained that Palletline deliveries are kerbside only, and while you are welcome to ask drivers for additional assistance, this cannot be guaranteed due to access, safety and insurance limitations. Palletline have confirmed that a 12T lorry, classed as one of their smaller vehicles, was allocated to your area that day. We appreciate that kerbside delivery may not be suitable for all properties. If you choose to order again, we’d be happy to explore alternative solutions such as Luton vans (subject to availability and additional cost), although these may still be kerbside-only. Alternatively, our smaller bags and boxes delivered via courier may offer a more accessible option, as these can typically reach residential doorsteps directly. Kind regards Abbie Duce
