We completely appreciate how frustrating your recent experience must have been, and it is not acceptable that delivery failed twice, especially after a small vehicle was specifically requested. Your feedback has been passed directly to Palletline so this can be addressed with the depots involved. On the third delivery attempt, although the driver delivered in line with their kerbside contract, I understand you were still unhappy with the placement. Because of the difficulties you experienced, we immediately instructed Palletline to return and do what they could to move the goods closer to your property. We also issued compensation for the failed deliveries, as we fully recognise the inconvenience and frustration caused. I would also like to mention that across your 13 previous orders, this is the only time we’ve encountered delivery issues. We genuinely hope this is a one-off, and we will be putting additional notes and precautions in place to help ensure that future deliveries run smoothly. To clarify the position regarding the Fire Club membership: we’re unable to refund the membership fee, as the associated benefits and discounts have already been used on your recent order. Once these perks have been redeemed, the membership is non-refundable. However, I can confirm that the membership has now been cancelled with immediate effect, and no further recurring payments will be taken. You will not be charged again going forward. We’re sorry that the delivery experience did not meet your expectations. While pallet deliveries are carried out under a kerbside contract and drivers must operate within those terms, we did instruct Palletline to return and assist further where possible, and compensation was issued to reflect the disruption caused. Your feedback regarding the carrier and delivery process has been noted.
