The customs charge is imposed by customs authorities in each individual destination country. It may be worthwhile checking with your local Customs what are the current regulations as we do not have sadly access to this information. These charges are set by Canada customs and are paid via Canada Post, along with any Landmark Global handling fee that only occurs when there are outstanding customs charges.For any items imported into Canada with a value over $20 CAD, COD charges will be applied, and the recipient will be asked to make the payment upon collection or delivery of the parcel. Our sincerest apologies, the COD (cash on delivery) charges are duties and taxes set by Canada customs and paid via Canada post plus the Landmark Global handling fee. If you would like to avoid handling fees, you can request from the broker forms to do it yourself with Canadian customs, however, please note, a customs broker will check the commodity codes (every product on the planet has a unique individual code) that are then used to prepare the customs documentation. The customs broker is electronically registered with customs, speeding up communications, and sorting it out on your behalf as getting the customs documentation wrong can mean goods are held up, or even confiscated.
