I would like to address your concerns below:- Battery life – With average use the battery has a minimum of 5 years life expectancy, where it will perform at 100% capacity. After years of repeated re-charging the battery life will diminish slightly, but will still supply 85-90% of its original capacity. Water ingress – We have tested the FishSpy in the most challenging conditions and environments for over 2 years to ensure that all aspects of the FishSpy will exceed the demands placed on it in a fishing situation. The materials that the flights, and seal are made from will ensure the chances of damage are highly unlikely. The internal board of the FishSpy has been sealed so that in the very unlikely event of water ingress due to component failure or damage the FishSpy should still function without problem. Date change – The actual date that the recorded files are made will be the date displayed. If you have any further questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us again.
