Thanks for your feedback Hans. The multi-bike discount is a saving when you have multiple bikes on one policy, but your 'away from home' value is only one of these bikes. So, for example, if you owned two bikes worth in total £4000, your 'total bike value at home' would be £4000 but, if you only ever took one bike away from home at any one time, then your 'away from home' value would be £2000.A policy like this would be cheaper than having a policy for each bike individually, as there is a lower value of risk being taken away from the home. I hope this helps explain things a little better, and if you feel that your circumstances would fit the above example, where only one bike is taken away from home at any one time, then we can merge the two policies together, by amending the insured values on one of them and cancelling the other.
