We don't like declining claims, it's certainly not within our business plan. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and very much treat all of our customers fairly. As with many items, locks are very inconsistent in their manufacturing processes and quality, which is why we use an industry-standard assessment and grading system provided by Sold Secure. This gives our customers an easy to understand reference point when deciding which lock to use/buy. To support our customers, we ensure that we provide this important information within our 'Locking requirements', which all customers have to accept that they've read and understood, before purchasing a policy. In addition, every customer is invited to 'Check their lock' via their Welcome email, where the team will confirm whether the lock is Sold Secure approved or not.
