It would of been nice to speak to someone and to be able to get insurance documents through the post with more information on them

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry for the delay in responding here and that you didn't feel the communication you received met your expectations.
If you need posted documents, you can select these using your AXA online account. Just log in and select 'Policy documents' from the left-hand side of the main page and then choose 'Change document preference' to get started. You'll then be able to select future documents by post. You can also print out your documents from your online account if you have a printer at home.

I have not had to claim with AXA so do not have end to end experience. However I have found the complaints team to be unhelpful and disinterested. I won't be remaining with them next year.
