In case of tours like the day trip to the Dolomites good weather is of course a key factor however I am sure you will agree that's not something that we have any control over. We have a B plan ready in case it rains and we include some alternative stops to make the day as enjoyable as possible. Our small group tours from Venice all operate with max 8-passenger vehicles as it allows us to run the tours with English-speaking driver-guides. A driver-guide doesn't mean there are two persons accompanying you: one driver + one guide. It's just one person. On the website it's not mentioned anywhere that there is a city guide included in the tour. Can you please advise where you found this information?  There is also a video available online describing how the tour operates. A driver-guide provides introduction along the way, as well as gives you interesting info at each stop before you are given free time. I presume you expected to have a walking tour with a city guide like the ones we operate in Venice however this is not the same type of tour. On the day of the tour we had three vans and three of our experienced driver-guides ( Filippo, Luca and Michele) who have worked with us for many seasons now and who clearly know how the itinerary and tour should operate. We understand you simply had different expectations - that can happen. Probably had the weather been better you would have been satisfied with the tour but as stated above - it's beyond our control. We hope that despite all you enjoyed the tour at least a bit. We remain at your disposal for any further assistance.

Thank you for your comments about our tour - we understand it was informative and interesting and you learnt a lot of interesting details about the city of Venice. All our guides are professionals and show up for work if a last minute change is not feasible. The alternative would have been a cancelled tour so I am sure it's understandable the guide and our company did our best in the circumstances and a person can hardly be blamed for catching a cold. On that day we had three groups - each with of our most experienced and knowledgeable guides - Cristina, Cristina and Francesca.  Tourists unfortunately are often unaware or inconsiderate and ignore warning signs and keep taking pics anyway. As you pointed our guide did inform the group about the "no pics" rule - but I am sure you will agree it's hardly her fault if people willingfully decided to ignore her warnings. Not all people are respectful of local rules when they travel - the guide can only do as much ad to politely inform everybody about respecting a place of worship.

I can see you expected CT to be a less touristy location - I am sure you will agree that that's hardly something we can have any control over nor can we blame other tourists for wanting to visit this unique spot. Considering the distance between Florence and CT as well as timetable of the local boats and trains the tour features three out of five towns - Manarola Corniglia and Vernazza which we believe are the most picturesque and interesting ones and this is what we advertise on our website. If we added more spots the tour would be rushed and some of the senior travelers could have trouble following the tour - we need to consider we may have participants of different ages so the tour contents need to be adjusted to allow anyone to join and follow. We have been operating this tour for years and it never included all the five towns as logistically it would have been impossible to include them all if you depart and return to Florence on the same day. Perhaps you were look at a different website, not ours? Our driver-guides are all experienced and aware of the itinerary to follow - there are very few clean public toilettes hence we prefer to suggest going to a bar and using their restrooms as they are simply more convient and cleaner. On the day of the tour we had a total of two vans departing, each van with one English speaking driver-guide  - it is standard on this tour for the vans to follow each other so it may at times happen that the first van needs to wait for the second one but still - our driver-guides all speak English so if there is any issue you can simply ask for assistance. The stops in the towns ( depending on traffic) are normally 60 -70min or so, even more in case of Vernazza where there is also time for lunch. At the beginning of each stop the driver provides an explanation and then you are given free time.  The tour operates with a driver-guide - not to be confused with a local city guide. We are sorry you are not fully satisfied with the experience - we are professionals and we will check with the driver and other passengers asking them for feedback about the tour - if due to any delay you missed any tour portion we are ready to offer a compensation.
