Thank you for the feedback. Not every remote can be programmed to control the AV120, but many can, and it sounds like your Sony remote unfortunately wasn't one of them. If having broader remote compatibility is important to you, our models with HDMI ARC or remote learning are built to sync up with your TV or cable remote.
As for dialogue settings, the AV120 has two AccuVoice levels, and we find that's enough for many of our customers. That said, if you are still having trouble hearing dialogue, one of our models with 12 to 20 AccuVoice/Supervoice levels would likely work better for you. Even with two levels, the AV120 is still built to make a real difference in dialogue clarity over the speakers built into your TV.

background music is too loud compared to speech.The "other settings" button on remote does nothing to help or hurt device.Soung has to be reset for every movie,TV show,etc.
Product fine but intergrating into your smart tv depending on its connections is confusing and difficult to do yourself and can be costly.. i ended up having to purchase a jtech converter a roku...

It does not work as well as my other Zvox units!
Not as much voice amplification and somewhat disappointing!
But I guess you get what you pay for!
