Thank you for your comments. Natures Menu keep full records of all such complaints and correspondences. Our records show that the complaints which was initially regarding our website which had been compromised, this was dealt with in a professional and timely manner. On .9.01.2015 you were provided with a 5% discount code off your next order, which you redeemed on 22.01.2015. The web site issues were beyond our control and our web designers worked tirelessly to rectify the issues which were caused by our site being attacked by spam bots. We offered to place the order manually as we did with the majority or our online customers, this offer was declined. All our customers were understanding that the error on the website was caused by someone trying to sabotage the site. This was explained at the time that the fault was beyond our control and that a vast amount of our loyal customers were also affected. The driver was running late on one of your deliveries, at your request we re-arranged for him to deliver to your home address. When that order was received it was shorted of a few items, Customer Services procedures were followed and this matter was rectified and we re-delivered the shorted items the following day. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of Customer Service and feel that we have done everything possible to accommodate your requirements, but on this occasion we do not feel further compensation is necessary. Thank you for taking the time to leave some some feedback, your comments are appreciated. We use human grade meat for all our products. We follow strict legislation in regards to the quality of our ingredients. As we are producing raw pet food we have to provide high quality, safe products at all times. We obtain our fruits and vegetables from reputable suppliers that we have been using for many years. Again ingredients from the human food chain. We do include peas in our meals. Peas are a great carbohydrate source as well as providing a healthy dietary fibre to aid digestion and passage of faeces. Our cooked tins and pouches are slightly different as we only cook the ingredients once within the packaging. The ingredients are delivered into the can/pouch raw, sealed and then gently steamed to lock in the natural flavours and nutrients. We use high quality ingredients in our cans/pouches too. I apologize for the confusing information that was explained to you during the trade show. The potato in our cans/pouches is cooked as the product is steamed. The potato in our grain free standard Natures Menu nugget range (senior, active, banquet) is raw ground sweet potato (as described on the label). Sweet potato has a medium glycaemic index and is a natural, healthy source of carbohydrate and is added in its raw form. We mince the ingredient to break down the cellulose wall so the dog can obtain the nutrients and easily digest it. Sweet potato is packed with B vitamins and magnesium and contains anti-oxidant nutrients called carotenoids which help combat free radicals and play an important role in improving eyesight and artery health. Whilst dogs do have limited ability to digest carbohydrates, they are able to digest the small amount of sweet potato that is in our foods from enzymes secreted by their pancreas and the extra digestive enzymes that will be increasingly present in their digestive tract when they are fed a raw diet.
