Good morning Thank you for your review. As a charity, we are governed by regulations which mean that we are unable to offer financial or monetary rewards to our members. We claim gift aid on our membership fees which means we gain 20% on every membership purchased. To be able to do this, HMRC put rules in place: one of them is charities are not allowed to offer benefits back to members above 25% of the membership value. Good morning Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you were disappointed with the cottage. We have passed your comments to the team to address. Please see below the information from our FAQs which mentions what's included in our cottages: All the accommodation is self-catering. It's kitted out with a standard inventory, and this includes most things you'd need to cook a meal or bake. You'll need to bring all food and condiments with you. The inventory list can be found at https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/holidays/cottages/inventory. To help you get started, we provide two toilet rolls per toilet, washing up liquid, handwash and seven dishwasher tablets. We also provide environmentally friendly anti bac spray and toilet cleaner. Where there is a fire or wood burner, it will be laid ready for the first evening with enough logs for one fire and a couple of firelighters, unless otherwise stated on the accommodation's webpage. There will be a box of matches in a match tin. We don't provide fans in our cottages, but you can bring one of your own to use in warm weather. Linen and towels are provided unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation. There are a few cottages and bunkhouses where this isn’t supplied, so please check the notes on the relevant accommodation page of the website. If you're travelling with young children, we would advise bringing your own waterproof sheets. We don't supply linen or bedding for travel cots. Please note that we supply oven cloths rather than oven gloves. Thanks to our partnership with Forthglade, we’re delighted to have some complimentary goodies waiting for your dog in your accommodation. These goodies may vary.
