Hello Andrew! Our liners are measured by the outside wall height, instead of the inside. After checking your account, it seems you first bought a 52" liner, after which you bought a 54" liner. We were not made aware that any part of this liner was defective, just that it did not fit your pool. Our return policy states that once liners are attempted to be installed, they are no longer in returnable condition, as they are unrolled and attempted to be stretched.
