We endeavour to dispatch orders on the day that they were placed but unfortunately during some busy spells this is not always possible (but the delivery time of 2-5 working days is almost always achieved). We also endeavour to contact all customers asap via telephone or email with regard to out of stock items and I shall look into why this did not happen for you and ask the team to be a little more communicative!
