ok apart from when I collected the vehicle I was told that there was £15 of fuel in the car but when I set off in it there was only 15 miles!! considering the salesman knew I had 100 miles to travel...

I've spoken to your account manager. Our account managers always tour the car and handover in person. During this process your account manager has started the engine to confirm mileage and has also confirmed a level of fuel that was above the warning light being on.
This is standard policy for ourselves and the vast majority of dealers.
