As soon as we realised that there was a problem with your log splitter we contacted Cobra and asked them to send you a new one which they were able to do straight away.

When you contacted us you were having difficulty putting your new McCulloch petrol leaf vacuum together and getting it started.
In this situation we do often give customers the manufacturer’s contact details so that they can get technical support for the product. This can either be the customer service number of the manufacturer or a local authorised warranty agent.

A good tip to help solve your problem is to put a solid block of wood behind the small log you want to split (to increase its length) so that it will reach the splitter.

Yes, that is what I did, but the instructions specifically suggest this is not recommended due to the risk of them popping out.
Excellent product, does what it says. However, disappointed to have to buy the battery and charger separately (and at a cheaper price!). No complaints about the product itself.
