Hi customer care, I booked a set holiday but late in the piece I wanted to change a block of 4 of the difficult walking days and a rest day and space out walking times a bit better. Granted the changes we inside the 2 week start date. Even though thie changes were for stays over a month away and I checked there was accommodation at the hotels Caminoways refused to alter. I rang and explained I was coming from New Zealand the furthest country as far away from Spain as you can get and it was difficult to get rirst hand information on the walk. I was repeatedly told by staff to get a taxi if I wasn't up to it. This is a shocking comment I thought I was dealing with a professional company to make the walking experience better but really I felt I was dealing with a hotel booking service. In retrospect because of intractability to change even one night I would strongly recommend others to use the well publicised material on the Camino to book themselves or deal with a company more tailored to making the walk a better experience. Poor effort Caminoways and very poor attitude to constantly say 'get a taxi'
