The top actually comes from Japan, although I am not quite sure where it is made.
Mostly they work well. But occasionally they can have problems. Fresh batteries sometimes help 9they ship with a spare set); also the surface that you spin it on does affect things, and also the way that you set it spinning in the first place also affects how well it then spins.
Is there anything else we can do to help?

I have dealt with Grand Illusions before and I have never been dissapointed.
The calendar is really more about the 365 optical illusions. The Dutch designer sells calendars from many previous years in his shop, each containing a unique collection of optical illusions. I am sorry if we did not make this sufficiently clear.
Since 2011 is now over, we are actually selling them at cost price - we make nothing on these - which does make them quite a bargain I think, so long as you like optical illusions!
