Thank you for your review. We are sorry you were unhappy with the food and service provided during your stay at Chalet Aline.
We expect all of our chalet hosts to provide a more than satisfactory service to their guests and your feedback is therefore a real disappointment for us. Our resort managers do not visit each chalet on a regular basis, but will do so if any issues or customer complaints require their involvement/attendance. You should have been provided with the manager's contact details either directly or on a noticeboard within the property. Our hosts' service is also monitored by our chalet managers, who sit between them and the resort manager, so there is no reason why any host who is struggling to meet their obligations should not be fully supported. As for food, this is based on a standard menu-plan, which is used across all of our resorts. This is intended to avoid inconsistencies.

The rooms were fine, could do with a little more cleaning?
The communal space was a little cramped, the chalet hosts were friendly and the food was good and varied.
A lovely chalet with beautiful views. Well run with excellent hosts. It has a decent boot room with drying facilities.
The only reason for 4 stars is that it is a little way out of town and the bus...
In a good location Aline is a comfortable chalet with nice en suite bedrooms though storage space to unpack would be helpful. We felt the living area a bit disappointing…it has a fab big dining table...
The cost of this holiday has gone up by over £300 compared to last year and even more since the pandemic. I understand that it is not cheap to run a chalet in France, but the prices cannot keep going...
