Lovely place to stay, and very handy for all of the Calke Abbey facilities and walks. Ticknall Village is also a great place, with pubs and B&Bs offering a variety of options for drinks and meals.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Wildlife in the garden in the morning. Wandering the estate in the evening when everyone had gone home. A good central base for exploring the local area.

As usual a great cottage on a beautiful estate in a lovely area. It is a gate house at the entrance to the estate and so can have a number of cars going pass at peak times.
