Hi,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
Please allow me to clarify the security deposit policy.
When a booking is made, guests are required to pay a non-refundable deposit, which is a percentage of the total accommodation cost. However, if a booking is made within 8 weeks of the stay, guests are required to pay the full amount upfront.
Additionally, some properties require a separate £100 security deposit to cover any potential damages during your stay. This security deposit is taken a few days before your stay and is only held on our account temporarily. If no damages are reported, the deposit is released shortly after your stay.
These two deposits are different and require separate payment methods.
A list of properties requiring a security deposit is also available on our website.
I am very sorry, if this was not clear at the time of booking, we would have been more than happy to explain it further. I hope this helps to clarify things now.
If you have further questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
We look forward to welcoming you another time soon.
Many Thanks,
Glamping Hideaways
