It's an easy set up and I am saving money the app is easy to use and the reminder to send a meter reading for me is unavailable as I tend to forget it means my bills will always be accurate.

They did everything from the moment I joined and took all the pressure off trying to sort thing out, so was very pleased with the service

I've just checked my correspondence with Utility Point and I was wrong sorry - not being treated as a new customer after all. One thing though that has concerned me in the past and still does is my monthly submission of Meter readings - when do you think you will be installing smart meters? Apart from this year I am often away in my Campervan and wouldnt normally be able to provide a monthly reading.

Hi Ceri, thank you for your response. We are already in phase 1 of supporting SMETS2 meters where we can connect to these meters remotely but at the moment we do not use the technology to the full extent. Therefore, for the short period of time we ask our customers to continue submitting their readings. Very soon we will start installing the smart meters, indoor displays and we will start using SMETS2 to their full potential. Thank you, Utility Point.
