During the time that your property was marketed with us, we worked very hard to generate activity and arranged 11 accompanied viewings of the house with qualified potential buyers. Unfortunately, the only interest was from our eventual buyer who was not in a proceedable position at the time. We parted on good terms and you moved to another agent. Homes Partnership were unsuccessful in finding a buyer but fortunately our interested party agreed a sale on her property and offered the full asking price. We are sincerely sorry if you felt that our involvement from this point was unsatisfactory. Both you and your buyer had made it clear to us that you were in direct contact and the information that we received from the solicitors was that the matter was progressing smoothly. With hindsight, we should clearly have contacted you more frequently to ensure that you were fully informed, and we have now updated our sales progression procedures accordingly. Although I note your comments as to a lack of contact after the sale was agreed, I feel that our fee in the matter was very competitive considering the time and effort that went into marketing your property and securing a good buyer for you at an outstanding price. Ultimately, if you were unhappy with your experience of dealing with Mansell McTaggart then we have not met our very high standards of service on this occasion. I again offer our sincere apologies and we all wish you the very best in your new home.
