thanks for the feedback. For our worldwide policies (that include Africa and the Americas) unfortunately we do not allow these policies to be greater than 12 months duration. We do allow policies to other regions to be extended up to 18 months duration. In regards to your claim, you are able to claim prior to returning home if you would prefer to do this. You can also claim via our online claims tool on our website to speed up the process and save on international postage.
