Hi. If your pet flap doesn't work then I'm sure the manufacturer will be pleased to address the problem. Your Closer Pets microchip cat flap is one of the most reliable devices we install. You have a 3 year manufacturer's warranty with the device but you do need to register it with them. We work closely with Closer Pets and recommend you call their customer support. If, and this would be very unusual, the device needs replacing we would send our fitter to do this with our compliments. Closer Pets number is 01932 700000
