Thank you for this feedback. Please note that we can provide flat parasol bases which will fit underneath the tables to secure the parasol if necessary. The base plate is 5mm high so will fit underneath the wooden strut bar. Please find a link below to the bases on our website:

We appreciate your valuable feedback and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Whilst we generally like to take full payment from a customer at the point of ordering, we do take deposits if appropriate. We can only conclude that full-payment was inadvertently taken from your card, as opposed to the deposit amount, when processing.
