Italian Breaks were prompt with all communications and were helpful in suggesting a number of villas to decide between. All in all, I would definitely use them again.

Thanks for the response...however it is very difficult to know when to make a long distance phone call to make complaints that may be rectified. We were promised toilet seats(the mere fact we are discussing lack of toilet seats says it all) and we did not know they would not arrive, so along with all the other issues, you loose the will and try to make the best of a poor experience. In my experience long distance phone calls never really resolve anything. The bigger point is that this villa was not fit for rental. I realise that the owners have not been doing this business for long but it doesn't excuse the slackness and disinterest in getting things right. I did not contact yourselves due to them being on site...living above!!! We had made a connection with them and thought these issues would be resolved immediately.I am uncertain that your involvement would have lead to a quicker and more conclusive resolution,after all we were only there for 10 days.The outside area was a mess and I forgot to mention that not only was the jacuzzi not working but it was also filthy. Having to hand out a lesson in basic service and hygiene standards over the phone seems ludicrous as this should be a given and shouldn't be necessary. Finally with the owners being so present it would have been awkward to involve yourselves. I hope that alleviates your frustration!

Thank you so much for your feedback it really is very helpful for us to improve our service and product. Many of the issues you mention we could have taken care of immediately had you contacted us as we mention to do so on the various travel documents we give, should there be any problems whatsoever with the property during your stay (we have an emergency mobile phone that a member of staff takes home when the office is closed exactly for this). Unfortunately having not had any complaints for the villa we were not aware but I have since written of my disappointment and working together with our local contact to help educate the owners better on the level of service required. They were surprised to hear this as they thought you were happy, having received a text message from you where you mentioned you would see them next year. In the meantime all your points are being addressed locally. My only frustration is you did not mention any of this during your stay to allow us to improve your experience. Once again I thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Italian Breaks were absolutely fine and answered every question we had as best as they could and provided the service they advertised, I would happily book with them again.
