Straight forward online booking all confirmed with ease. Used holiday gems again as they were fantastic the last couple of years rearranging our holiday time and time again due to Covid.

Buy a hefty holiday package and if very serious matter happens beyond you control apologizing to the company and asking for refund they will politely tell you f.....o.. we stole...

This booking was made online by you and at the time of submission, you agreed to the terms and conditions which clearly advise the cancellation fees. We have paid non-refundable costs on your behalf. It would be unreasonable to expect us to be responsible for these charges. You do have the option to change dates or even names at the prevailing airline/supplier rates. Please contact our customer services team in this regard. We would recommend that this is done as soon as possible due to your imminent departure date.

I have never agreed to any terms and conditions as never seen any cancellation policy throughout booking process! For example Travel Republic website they stating clearly till what date people can cancel it. I have within 48 hours apologies to the company and stated that serious matter happened beyond my control and having plenty of time their to resell the holiday package and never expected that I will loose thousands of pounds as again during booking process they not made me aware of cancellation policy. That is very poor practice design just to mislead and get the money out of a customer
I am still waiting for a refund!
Advice to all potential customers stay away from that company unless you have plenty of money to loose if you find yourself in sudden difficult situation!
Go to Travel Republic when they give you a option to pay only deposit and CLEARLY till when to cancel. Or perhaps different companies with clear policy during booking process.

During the online process, you cannot submit the booking without accepting the terms and conditions by a click box. We believe this is standard practice for any online order, even with our competitors. We must therefore refute your edit.

Misleading
Not made clear until that the booking is not a live booking until after taking payment.
Impossible to get hold of anyone.
