Thanks so much for your comments, I am really sorry to hear there was confusion surrounding your initial enquiry. I think you and I might have spoken about this on the telephone and if I remember correctly this was found to be due to an overly efficient member of our evening team trying to secure the booking before all was ready! I'm really sorry for the oversight, it's our busiest time of year at the moment, and we have hundreds of enquiries waiting to be confirmed. I'm sorry we didn't get it just right this time, and I hope the rest of the booking goes more smoothly.

Thank you very much for your comment, unfortunately our own bank makes a charge to us of 2% for processing each credit card transaction. We split this charge with guests who choose to pay by credit card, asking for 1% of the amount payable. We do not make a charge for paying with a debit card or for making a direct bank transfer, so perhaps these might be options which might be possible for you to consider in the future.
