Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're disappointed with our returns policy. We understand that people make mistakes sometimes so we do accept change of mind returns, even though we are not required to do so under Australian Consumer Law. However, in order to ensure that we can provide our customers with brand new items, we do not accept returns of open boxes. We do encourage customers to report any damage to their order as soon as they are aware of it because this puts us in the best possible position to help you. This includes receiving an unsealed box as well as the damage to the vent. I can assure you that these items are packed carefully and leave our warehouse sealed. Your review indicates that you don't want to proceed with a warranty claim for the vent, but if you change your mind please let us know by emailing service@universalfans.com.au.
