While our rechargeable battery system works excellently for the majority of installations, as discussed, regrettably batteries will fail if subjected to extreme heat over time and therefore we recommend the blind batteries should be positioned out of direct sunlight where possible. Regrettably, due to the nature of your glazing and the architecture of your property, this was not possible. Lastly, we are disappointed to hear that the extension cable we offer did not fit your requirements and apologise for any miscommunication. The extension cable we supply is for connecting battery charger to external battery pack and cannot be used to go between battery pack and motor.
