The customer returned a non-waterproof scale with a water damaged keypad and a broken power connector and insisted that it was fixed under warranty. We consider this to be unreasonable.

We have checked our stock and have found no rust on any of our test weights. Our weights are stored in individual plastic bags inside individual cardboard boxes. We can only assume that the carrier must have got the weight wet?

The customer was kept fully informed of the situation. The delay was due to the courier losing the item.
A replacement was sent within 3 working days once courier had confirmed the loss of original package
