Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the auto renewal. Like most other insurers, our policy terms and conditions sate that we automatically attempt to renew your policy on the renewal date, which you can opt out of anytime by logging into your customer dashboard or contacting our customer services. We sent you a renewal email invitation on 1st March, 30 days prior to the renewal date, to state that your policy was due for renewal. So you could opt out of auto renewal or decline the renewal invitation at anytime. The policy has increased because you already received and benefited from a 30% Introductory discount in Year 1, which does not apply to year 2 onwards. Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent renewal. You purchased a policy in March last year which benefited from a one time 30% Introductory Year 1 discount. This was clearly communicated in your policy purchase last year and also at renewal. As such, at your renewal your premium has defaulted to the normal annual premium that you would have paid in year 1 had you not had the 30% introductory discount.
