We are able to confirm that the works at the apartments resort are now complete. We are very disappointed to receive this feedback. As you highlight we were in constant communication throughout the last three days of your stay when you made us aware of the issue and on your return. The works were undertaken by the resort with no warning to us or the property owner, which meant we were not able to prepare for this. The works were being undertaken on the apartments opposite of where you were staying and not your actual apartment. Of course the property owner did not in any way dispute that this did, however, cause disruption to your stay. As such he arranged a refund of £150 to your account to help cover the last few days of your stay. At all time Panoramic Villas were assisting with mediation between you and the owner. As a regular satisfied customer to Panoramic Villas we did all we could to help. Unfortunately, due to the short notice of the works we had no other properties to move you to. As an alternative we worked with the owner to help arrange a refund. All other customers who were booked to stay were made aware of the works and were refunded, moved to other apartments or they decided to stay anyway. Response from villa owner: We as owners of the Villa SP277 are very sorry to hear about your bad experience in our house. We have a lot of guests from various countries renting our house and they are all excited about the house and their stays! We as a family stay in the villa 10-12 weeks a year and we treat the house like our second home. Since we are Swedes, and as you may know, our living standard in general is quit high compare to other countries in Europe. When it comes to your complaints I’m really sorry about the check in time, it was a mis-communication with the cleaning team who thought the check in time was 5 pm. When it comes to the water heater the broke down, it was replaced as soon as it was possible, the reason why the old one was left, was of the fact that the water needs to flow out before it could be taken away, which was done the day after, once again, sorry for that inconvenience but water heater are breaking like every 10th year. When it comes to the toilet seats and the outdoor sofa they are all cleaned and fresh, the toilet seats are, I agree, a little bit old and we have now replace all of them. The sofa is 2 years old but it stays outside all year and the strong sun affects the look of the cushion, but it’s clean and fully useable. Once again, we are very sorry for your bad experience but we can guarantee you that we as owners together with the team taking care of the house, are doing our best to keep the Villa in the best possible shape, we are here as we speak and we love our house and enjoying our stay, it’s a Villa and a second home that we are very proud of!
