Hi Sarah, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We do try to keep our prices as low as we can and in the last 5 years we have only put our transfers up by literally £2. The problem we have with the South West Coast Path is that we have lots of estuaries, tolls, ferries and tiny lanes. We price all our journeys up as fairly as we can by calculating it on a time and mileage basis to reflect the actual experience of the journey. Some walks may seem very short on the coast path but the actual journey by road can be completely the opposite. Some areas are a complete nightmare for the drivers, taking sometimes over an hour for a single transfer, and others are simply a quick jaunt down the main road, so they are all priced accordingly. We are confident that our prices are competitive and since we started this business 10 years ago it has opened up the coast path to lots of walking companies who previously were not be able to book holidays for clients because the logistics and costs of having bags moved on were just not realistic. Now we move bags for 25 plus walking companies around the coast path, and literally move about 10,000 bags per month! Hi Alan, Thank you for your review. Yes, I do remember this! May I say you are not the first to do that, and you certainly will not be the last! It just took a bit of investigation work and a few phone calls to your future accommodations to check out the dates you were there! Whichever... better a day early than a day later! We do try to get things right and as Manager of the business I can safely say that I even dream luggage transfers, I check bookings in my sleep.. after 10 years am I surprised?! It is very important to me that dates and accommodations are correct.. if not, peoples holidays are spoiled... I look forward to seeing you again when you plan your next walk. Best wishes, Sue
