We’re sorry that we had to reduce our offer, it isn’t something we ever like to do, but we made a genuine mistake on our initial valuation which only came to light when we got the rics report back. It definitely isn’t our practice to routinely reduce offers and we apologise that it felt like we’d done this at the last minute. Having made that reduction we would have completely understood if you didn’t want to proceed, and we hope that the profit share arrangement we agreed might yet produce some more funds for you
