Thank you for writing your review of the Whale Watching part of your tour, I do hope that you enjoyed the second part of the Golden Circle. The whales were not spotted on this tour and all passengers were offered free passes to try again within the next 2 years. I do hope that you will return and join this tour once more.

The Whale Watching tours can be a challenge at any time of year. Wintertime is no different from other seasons as Whales can be spotted all year round and therefore the tours are offered in good faith. Most of the larger animals are actually seen in Winter as well as Orcas, sadly either of these were seen on the tour you participated in. 

Your disappointment is understandable as you had high expectations but remember that the Whales are not guaranteed to be seen on demand as they are of course wild and a natural phenomenon that we are lucky to see all around the island. 

The Whale Watching company Elding keeps a diary https://elding.is/friday-3-february-2017where the register all sightings and no sightings as well as the types of Dolphins that were indeed seen on tour that day. The experience to be at sea is for many an experience all on its own and many sea birds can be seen as well.
