I do believe you did save a sufficient amount on the original shipping price for your goods by requesting combine and repack, prior to shipping, because the combined volumetric weight of your goods in their original 2 packages, prior to repacking, calculated to 6.3 kg whereas the volumetric weight/size of the combined goods in your optimized package after repacking calculated to 3.81 kg.
