Too expensive. My purchase almost doubled in price due to very high freight cost and fees. I also had to pay unnecessary GST prices at the border as they required me to pay these before shipping...

Hi Toni, Many thanks for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied with the final shipping costs that you paid for your John Lewis order. I have been looking at the details from your recent FedEx shipment through our service and I can see that you never chose to combine and repack your clothing/ coat prior to shipping. I have verified that the reason why you will have paid a higher price for shipping is because the chargeable weight for the John Lewis coat that you have shipped would have been been based on the volumetric weight/size of the package rather than the actual weight of the goods inside. If a repack had been requested for the John Lewis coat, there would have been sufficient excess space to save by reducing and by us carefully folding the coat smaller in size this would have further reduced the original dimensions and should have helped lower the final courier shipping prices available to you. Furthermore you would have only been required to pay a single £2.00 repack fee on top of the shipping price if you were only shipping one package. I would like to discuss your GST issue with you in more detail via email because if you have been asked to pay GST twice for the same shipment this is not right and we need to ensure this matter is resolved for you. Please keep an eye out for my email regarding your GST issue. このアイテムは正常な到着をしませんでしたので、低い用かしか持ち合わせません。税関担当の業者も回答をせず、後任に任せっきりで、した。その後の弁明も説明なく、単に送ってきただけでした。最悪の対応でした。UPSの不手際かF"Bのリパックミスかわかりませんが、別の業者を模索中です。

I wouldve liked to see the shipping charges prior to bring asked to file a Prior Authorization. Also the delay was unnecessary as to how many days it took to release my package
