Hi, Many thanks for your feedback, this is very important to us. I'm pleased to hear that you are overall happy with the service however you found the shipping costs too expensive. I have taken a look at your recent shipment and can see that you have chosen a premium door to door service with DHL however there should have been some cheaper options for shipping via FedEx and TNT. I will contact you directly to check if you had these options when you shipped and to ensure that you see the best prices possible next time you ship with us. Shipping costs are generally calculated on the amount of space the shipment takes up which is called the volumetric weight, not the actual weight. It is only when the actual weight is more than the volumetric weight that this calculation would be used. I see from the weight and dimensions of your package that the actual volumetric weight was higher than the actual weight of the goods so the shipping fees have been calculated on the volumetric weight on this occasion.
