I tried to upgrade my return flights for a bit of comfort and was blocked

I was blocked from upgrading So all I can think it was for was greed Other than that nit bad

I got to dxb Airport and tried to upgrade and Emirates told me I couldn't upgrade as my agent had put a block on my tickets for an upgrade I can only think this was because flysharp wouldn't have earned any money from the sale The only way I could upgrade was to buy new tickets Other than this I have no problems with the service

We can amend/upgrade the ticket if it is allowed by the airline and fare rules Also if upgrade is not allowed then airline can't upgrade the ticket either because they also have to follow the fare rules.
