Thank you for taking the time to send us your review, It is lovely to hear that you were pleased with your flight arrangements and that you've already booked with us again for Christmas. We're sorry the hotel didn't meet your expectations. We take all customer feedback seriously and will be sharing your comments with our accommodation partners along with our in-house product team for review. While we appreciate that hotel standards can be subjective, it's worth noting that the star rating is awarded by the relevant Portuguese tourism authority following their own inspection criteria, rather than by ourselves. We also understand that some aspects of your stay, such as security deposits for potential room damage, are relatively common practice in Portugal and many other European destinations, although we appreciate this may come as an unwelcome surprise if you haven't encountered it before. We look forward to welcoming you on your next holiday.
